Blood test results said HepatitisB: not detected, HIV:not detected?

I'm six months pregnant and I've just received my blood results and they came up and read Hepatitis B and HIV: Not Detected, since i want to breast feed my baby i am not sure if i was tested for those.

hi
dont worry they did test you for these diseases
not detected means they did not find thewm in your blood
you are fine to breast feed

not detected means they haven't found in your blood the two virusus/diseases so you are healthy and your breast feeeding is ok to do

Not detected means when they tested your blood for Hep B and HIV, they did not find these infections in your blood. Yes they did check your blood for them both, so it is fine to go ahead and breast feed your baby. Enjoy motherhood.

The test results mean that antibodies to either disease were not found in your blood.

It means the tests were negative.

However, a person should never rely on the results of just one HIV test. Get tested again in 3 months time to be sure.

EMT

Not detected means the tests were carried out and were negative. Did you have any reason to suspect that you may have been at risk of either infection? If you work in the sex industry, are an intravenous drug user or engage in risky sexual behavior, you should have advised your GP so that other specific tests could be carried out.
