Go to planned parenthood, they offer free or low cost HIV and STD testing, also pregnancy tests and counseling.

Go to www.plannedparenthood.org to see if they have an office in your area.

There should be a test call Ora-Test. It takes about 20 minutes to find out the results, and just takes a simple swipe of your mouth.

There are state-run health departments in every county. The yellow pages would be a good place to start. I believe they do free STD testing. I recommend you insist on a condom unless you're sure whether your partner has an STD.
