Swine flu diagnosis and hysteria?

I am a bit astounded that doctors in minor clinics in Nova Scotia can claim to have diagnosed swine flu in four high-school students. Are they using some form of test like the HIV western blot, or are they just looking at these people wheezing and in light of the present hysteria, saying OH MY GOD! SWINE FLU!

there really is no proof that america is going to end up just like I AM LEGEND. which every one seems to think is going to happen to america.

if anyone remembers the SARS in 2003 everyone was like "OMG its going to come over to america and theres going to be a pandemic.

and that never happened and the bird flu was another. So AMERICA just calm down. we also have the best medical care in the world so just sit tight and let this pass.

PS. don't go to Mexico if you don't want to get this.

Maybe this is just another scare tactic dems want to use on us to get their universal health care agenda? Think about it- people who have no insurance will die from it- since they cannot afford the tamiflu- which is hundreds of dollars! Dems will use this- saying see if they had insurance they would have lived. I think our govt is that evil- sad hah- that I think they would murder people to get control- Im still allowed to voice my OPINION RIGHT?

Expect more. Some of the conservative bigots have siezed on this as a way of trying to spread hatred andprejudice against Hispanics. They will be doing eerything they can to instill fear andpanic.

There are tests to determine flu types. Whether these were used or not, I don't know.
