If i am sick and have a high white blood cell count 2 months after being exposed to HIV am i HIV free? |
I was exposed to HIV 2 months ago. I got a Ora Quick test at 5 weeks it was negative. I have been sick twice in one month so i was begining to worry my immune system may be deteriorating. They ordered a CBC and the only thing that came back not normal was my white blood cell count and it was high. The blood test was done at 2 months. Would i have a high white blood cell count at 2 months if I was HIV positive? The only way to know for sure is to get tested again. |
