Pregnancy - Blood test?

Sorry to ask what may seem a dumb question but im a worrier when it comes to this kinda thing!
I had a blood test Wednesday for Hiv, anaemia all them types of things they test for in pregnancy it is now Monday - I rang my doctors and they said they have the results but have a back log so doctors havent got round to looking at mine yet
If there was something wrong would the midwife/hospital of rang me by now?

I would say yes. Typically if a test result came back abnormal in my experience i got a call right away. When tests were normal sometimes it took them a week or I ended up having to call and check. I wouldn't worry.

If there was something wrong they'd call you and tell you to go in for an appointment ASAP.

Usually, if they're fine they won't call you, they'll just tell you the results at the next appointment.

No of course not! If there was something wrong they would call u in STRAIGHT away.

I had my blood taken around 3 weeks ago at my midwife appointment and i only recieved the results a few days ago..
Nothing to worry about x

When they don't call its usually a good thing.

When doctors take your blood test.....?

When your blood goes to the lab, it is tested only for the items on the list that the doctor has ticked off. If he has ticked of HIV, it will be tested for that, but it is not automatic.
