What is HIV Culture test?

There is no such thing as an HIV Culture test. A culture test is performed with most other STD's by swabbing the cervix or the urethra (in males). Culture tests are based on those cells extracted.
An HIV test can ONLY be performed by drawing blood and sending it to a lab for testing. It can take up to 3 months before the HIV virus is apparent in your system, so when in doubt, test monthly. Hope this helped.

I know that there is a technique called the Shell Vial test that is used for culturing Virii, such as Herpes however, I'm not sure if that same technique is used for HIV.
Yes, HIV is a virus, but I'm not certain if you can culture it like Varicella, or Papilloma.
