What's all the tests they do at MEPS?

I know they test for HIV, but do they test for all kinds of STDs? What if you find out then that you have std, will that disqualify you from joining?

lol jk. But they do get up close and personal. They just do a ton of stuff like urine sample, blood sample, hearing and vision tests, see if you have had and legal disputes in the past, surgeries, etc.

BY THE WAY if anyone told you to lie about anything, DO NOT DO IT!!!

My recruiter told me to lie, and within 30 minutes I was caught. Now I cannot join for another year. Thanks to my douche bag recruiter. I went against my better judgement and lied, because he is a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and I figured he knew what he was talking about. WRONG. Just be 100% honest so it doesn't bite you in the *** in the future.

no youll be fine. really they only do a blood test to check for HIV, and they do a urine test for drugs. things like that will disqualify you but stds really wont.

other tests they do are hearing tests, vision tests, basic physical, things like that.

an std wont disqualify you, they are looking for jail time, physical defects, and mental defects...be honest about your past and youll have nothing to fear
