I have tested first time for hiv after an possible exposure after one year,,and i test negative,,,what my resu?

This guy has answered no questions but asked 5 on HIV exposure all with differant time frames. one says 14 mo, one says, a year, one says 3 years. Which was it?!

Your negative hiv test after one year is definitive. You did not get hiv from your exposure. The CDC considers three months to be conclusive while some sources Medhelp.com for instance states 6-8 weeks after a potential exposure is fine. you should continue to get tested even though it shows up negative. HIV/AIDS can be in your system for 7 years before it shows up on a test.
