I want to go for HIV/AIDS test this week, though I feel so scared.I had various girlfriend before?

Am 27years old, I feel it is the time to get married and live the family life. For the coming 2years, I should be married and at least have one kid.

But, I feel too much scared, I suppose it comes positive?? will all my dreams be shut down? will be able to have a baby if found positive??. What will be the reaction from my friends? family and other relatives?.Really these are the questions daily ringing in my head.

These questions acted as a break for me to go for a test. Should I mary before testing? how about the kid if found positive? how about its mom?.Just a bit cough make me feel,ooooooooh! the symptoms have already started!!!Lots and lots of questions burning my brain.

1. Go for the test, and worry till the result comes.
2. Don't go for the test and worry for the rest of your life.

Since you were smart enough to protect yourself every time, there is extremely little chance that you come up positive.

okay go for the test bfore u go marry. if u get positive, it doesnt mean your life is over. live happily and let your relatives and friends to accept what is happening and help you. if someone knows you have aids and doesnt wanna marry you. leave it, because aids might kill people and if u hav that family the chance of aids giving to ur family will be very risky. is better for one person to suffer rather than many people. just live and think positively as yourself. i will be supporting you though.

Hey man, I know the feeling. I went through the exact same thing a few months ago. I know about the anxiety of not knowing. Im not going to lie, the 2 weeks it takes for the results to come back will be the hardest. try not to think about it too much. here are some facts for you, to make you feel a bit better, i know they made me feel better. First you have to look at the odds. First off, your partner(s) have to be HIV positive to begin with. secondly, The chances of you catching HIV from having unprotected sex are 1 in 200. the chances of you catching HIV from having protected sex is 1 in 2000. there are some facts for you. i hope they will make you feel a little bit better. the only thing you can do is get tested. trust me, the 2 weeks worth of suffering are better than years of not knowing. Go for the test! U will get counselled n be able to have informed decision making. If u hav been using ccondoms correctly everytime u hav sex, u r at low risk of havn acquired HIV. But only a test can comfirm. Trust me it is always scary even for people who havnt had sex. If results turn out negative, well n good. If positive, not the end of the world.. n yes u can marry n will be advised on how to protect ur partner. If u r in a devt country, u can hav sperm washin and hav a baby so HIV is nt a death sentence. Courage n all the best
