HIV tests now can detect antibodies as soon as 3 months after you contracted it. If it's negative, I'm sure you don't have it. If you're in doubt, wait a few months and test again. I'm sure it's fine though, mate. No worries.

no HIV takes 6 months to show in your body, after the 6th month go back for re-testing, and actually the person performing the test should have told you that.
