Would you advise anyone to go for a HIV test???

Would you advise anyone to go for a HIV test???

I advise EVERYONE to get an HIV test who has been sexually active in any way, even if they used protection. The pores of a condum are about 100 times larger than the cells that carry HIV.

Talk to a doctor or go to a HIV testing clinic.

If you have had upnprotected sex or used IV drugs or had a blood transfusion it is probably not a bad idea to get check every 6 months.

Anyone who has a risk of exposure to HIV (unprotected sex, mostly), yes.

I think anyone who has had sex should get an HIV test. (And those that can fall in other high risk groups)

yes cause it can save u from giving it to someone else

Only if you had unprotected sex

yes if you think you might have it get tested

Why not?

Level of risk is a practical thing to consider, but there is never a time when it is actually a bad thing to be tested.

Yes it's free and it can save your life

why, of course. The sooner you're aware in case something is wrong, the more chances you have!

I'd certainly advise any transvestite Nigerian prostitute with a heroin addiction that had a blood transfusion in the 80's

Yes, if someone has any inclination to thinking they have an std, especially HIV, it is important to go get tests ASAP. If unchecked, HIV could develope into AIDs. AIDS is a death sentence, HIV is not. So whoever needs to get checked should, immediately.

I would advise everyone to go get tested for HIV.... You might not have anything but you never know. Just to be on the safe side i encourage everyone to get tested for it. There is nothing to lose.

I`d ask anyone whom I plan to get into a long term relationship with, and of whom you don`t know too much about their past. Be prepared to take one yourself as this is only fair!

If you are sexually active and/or have numerous partners, then yes

I would if I knew they had slept with someone that has a reputation of sleeping around. Or if I didn't know there history and was about to sleep with that person, I would ask they have one. I know alot of younger people now that do this. They won't sleep with a person untill they see an HIV test.

if needed.... its just a blood test.

yes but it can be a bit scary thinking about it

I would encourage...not just advise...anyone who has participated in ANY of the potential risk factors to get tested.
