I hav chlamydia and i do a HIV test will the test comes out clear? |
I hav chlamydia and i do a HIV test will the test comes out clear? the test used for HIV is different from the clamidiya one. therefor it wouldn't give you a positive if you don't have HIV at the time. now you must keep in mind that the disease for HIV might not appear right away and go undetected for a while. this can take anywhere from a few months to maybe even years. its always a good idea to have safe sex and get checked regularly for any std's. yeah as long as you don't have HIV chlamydia and hiv are two separate disease. If you have chlamydia, you might or might not have HIV. Usually, chlamydia tends to go hand in hand with gonorrhea, not HIV. dont know If you have chlamydia you may have been exposed to HIV but if this is a new partner or exposure you will prob test neg now, but you need to repeat testing in 6 months because it takes some time before you seroconvert. Yes your test will come back negative. if you have any further questions go to Chlamydia is tested thru a swap of the genital fluids. HIV/AIDS is tested thru blood. These are two very different tests that have nothing in common. For example, a swab of the area will not show HIV and a blood test will not confirm Chlamydia. Thats exactly why these two different tests need to be taken! The HIV test will only give you results for HIV! |
