Should i go for hiv test? |
i met a girl 4 days back and on first date we french kissed and she perfomed an oral sex on me .i don't know the girl but i am worried ...what should i do An HIV test will not alleviate your fears right now. It can remain dormant in your system for at least years. Everyone should have a test done at one time or another YES!! *~* Ask her and see if she has anything ... or if she ever got an sdt test You should get tested just to be safe. What are you thinking? Wait until you at least know a girl better than that. do it wouldn't hurt to know yes ya know maybe you should...she is probably a hooker...who knows. I would if i was you...ya never kno people now days. Getting tested is a good idea OF COURSE YOU SHOULD, BUT DONT FORGET ABOUT OTHER STDS LIKE HERPES...YUCK You can get HIV from oral sex so you should get tested. However, because it happened 4 days ago, even if you got it from her your test would be negative most likely. Your best thing is to talk to a doctor, who will keep it confidential. I f you aworried about it then you should go for peace of mind, maybe next time ya won't be so easy lol if she gave you oral and you just kissed her no worries maybe herpers but not hiv and doctors usuaally dont test for herpes unless you have the symptoms. Hiv is through blood or genital fluids. if you didnt get her blood or genital fluids in you then you dont have it. also it usually takes 6 to 12 months to properly test and get a reading if it is infact positive. but i get tested every year even though its only been the same girl for the past 3 or so years YOU CANNOT GET THE AIDS VIRUS UNLESS EITHER ONE OF YOU HAS AN OPEN SORE.YOU SHOULD STOP HAVING ORAL SEX WITH ANYONE AND TRY TO GET INTO A ONE TO ONE RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE SPECIAL. TRY PLAYING SPORTS OR GET INVOLVED IN SOMETHING TO KEEP YOUR MIND OFF OF SEX. the county or city health dept. willl do a free screening for all of the stds and then you should wear condoms in the future and also the mouth isnt likely to give aids as much because the enzymes and the acids in the saliva are some what protective of the body unless the person has a sore or wound and your penis has a scrape or something the exchange of blood is the easiest way to transmit the disease If she only performed oral sex on you the only way you could be infected with HIV is if she had a cut inside her mouth and you had a cut on your penis. The passing of HIV is through blood transfer or through sexual intercourse. You could have an HIV test if you want but from the sounds of it you don't have anything to worry about. However it is always a good idea to have an STD check in case you have anything else. If you don't trust a girl, you should not have any sort of sexual contact with her. It is very unlikely that you will contract HIV from kissing or from receiving oral sex (unless both of you had open sores in your mouths), but if you would like to get a test just for your own state of mind, go ahead. The best way to 'get started' with being sexually mature (instead of being a kid fooling around with sex) is a visit to Planned Parenthood. You get a physical, tests for HIV and infections, even free condoms. If you want to be full of knowledge instead of full of worry, PP is the way to go. If you are sexually active you should be getting an HIV test at least every year, every 6 months if you are promiscuous. you better go i think you should go for an HIV test...what would you lose anyway? have the test so you stop worryin'. |
