If i took an hiv test and it came back negative is that only for aids or all std's?

An HIV test screens ONLY for HIV, you have to have a different type of test for other STDs.

that is only for HIV - but it takes 6 months to seroconvert to be positive for the test. so you could still have it, but the test could not detect it.

for the other std's you need other checkups.

It's called an HIV test for a reason. It's not an STD test because there are so many, you have to have a complete physical to figure out wether or not you're entirely healthy.

You would have to get tested for diffrent things, HIV is not the same as STD:)

only for HIV get another test if ur still worried, until then keep ur legs closed
