If a persons HIV test results turn out positive, Is it possible to know how long you've had it? |
I麓m about to get tested in the next few days, last time i got tested was 5 years ago and i really pray and hope to God the results turn out negative. Don't worry hun. I had a test after making the biggest mistake of my life and engaging in so much risky behaviour. It was negative. But HIV generally takes about three to five months to incubate and for your body to make all the antibodies and try and fight the virus. Thats why they have a window period. I'm not sure if they can tell you how long you've had it though, maybe they can test the antibodies somehow? Good luck. xxxx |
