Is hiv test same as hbv test??

It depends on what you mean by "the same as".

The most common HIV test and HBV (hepatitis B virus) test both don't look for the presence of the virus....they look for your body's response to the presence of the virus (antibodies to HIV or HBV).

So, the tests are both "antibody" tests but they look for separate antibodies.

HIV and HBV tests are collected by blood tests. The HIV test checking for Human Immuniodeficiency Virus while the HBV is checking for Heptatitis B Virus

No HBV test is for hepatitis
