Abnormal Pap test and HIV? |
I had unprotected sex 2 years ago. I never got tested for STD's. I've been perfectly normal. However, I went back to get on birth control in March and I got a pap test. I guess it came back normal because I was never told any different. Here is my question...If I have HIV, my pap test would come back abnormal, right? If it happened 2 years ago, I think it would have shown up by now, right?? Please help!! HIV infection does not appear on a PAP test unfortunately... Just because they never called you doesn't mean you're ok you should have called them. It can take HIV 7 years to show up |
