Is there any test for hiv/aids which can give 100% accurate result? |
I have come to know that there is no real test for HIV/AIDS.Whatever tests are there they do not give us the real results.A hiv positive person can be declared negative due to window period ? What is the solution? The solution is for the person to wait 3 months before getting tested. But advances in technology mean that window period is becoming increasingly irrelevant. People who feel they may have come into contact with the HIV virus are able to get tested 10 days after possible exposure, but such tests are not 100% accurate. There probably is a test which will give a 100% result. You might have to go to a specialist or something though. When they do a blood test they count your T cells And thats how they can tell if your infected HIV tests are used to detect the presence of the human immunodeficiency virus in serum, saliva, or urine. Such tests may detect HIV antibodies, antigens, or RNA. If you are found to be positive (even a false positive) then they do the Western Blot test which is the gold standard of all HIV testing. the tongue/mouth swab test administered at most public health offices where they also sale 5 cent condoms |
