Hello, My friend as an african american who studies in south london and she had a hiv test and worried? |
she had a test in the same clinic to that link and she is very worried, what is your take on this kings college hospital.... well anyone that has an HIV test is worried! She's having the test because she thinks she was exposed to the virus. Educate her on safe sex and/or eliminating drugs from her life if these are the source of her worry. If it's related to an exposure in a hospital setting, just tell her to be as safe as possible, always follow Universal Precaution Protocols. HIV is no longer a death sentence-but it doesn't mean we shouldn't protect ourselves as much as possible to avoid that diagnosis. You are right, but have the p24 test and that can at least give your friend some closure. Because if you think alot and i mean alot you could show some symptoms which are not related tot he virus. If Positive , Only times will tells |
