He lost his wife 2 years ago and says he can not marry without having an HIV test.?

For a long time, i have been praying to meet a guy like him. i am willing to take the test. He is particularly good to me and i enjoy being with him. can i tell him that i love him?

Of course you can. If he is such a gentlemen as you say he is then go for it. I don't blame you girl. That's a major... to get a HIV test done first. Now, that is someone who has his head on his shoulder! But, there are more good qualities to seek out in him also. Don't just stop at the HIV test. He is being safe and I can't blame him. I am the same way. That is the same promise I made to myself if I am to seek someone to marry. Get it all done....STD's and all. And if the two of you so happen to hook up then never have an affair or affairs on one another because that can defeat the purpose. All of this is good but there are other things that can kill you also that don't consist of sickness and diseases like physical, mentally and verbal abuse. This my dear can kill your will to live! How long have you been know him and how well do you know this man? There's nothing wrong with falling in love with someone and telling them the good news but be careful. He's doing what is right and safe so you follow up and hey...... don't forget to ask him for his social security number also that you may find out any important information on him. If he refuse to give it to you then ask him politely if the two of you together could seek information on his background. Also offer to do one for him. You should be getting tested every 3 months if you are sexually active. Willingness to take a test doesn't prove love.

OK, it thing it's great that he is asking for an HIV test. I think every one should ask for this test before sleeping with some one and have a test twice a year married or NOT.

It depends on how long you have been with him to say you love him.If you have not been together long enough, it might just scare him off, but again you know him better than anyone on YAHOO ANSWERS, you only can make the best judgment.

go take the test!if thats the only thing holding u guys back than go for it and take it.i would take the test first then sit him down,tell him that u took it,then say "i took it for u, i love u." good luck!
