Question about HIV test? |
Okay I've had the same partener since July 8th, 2007. I was tested the 2nd week of October, and my test was negative. Does that mean that I'm negative still? Getting tested is a great thing to do. Did your partner test as well? Is it just the two of you? Have either of you been with others during your relationship or since you have tested. Usually I tell people if they got tested like you did after three months of dating, I would strongly suggest retesting 3 months after your last test. To be totally sure of your status. General practice is to suggest that people get tested every 6 months. This means that since you were last tested in October then your next test should be in April, unless there is something else which happened in between that time, then you should see a counselor sooner. |
