This is regarding hiv test i need feedback please help me here ok.?

i had one time unprotected sex on dec 15 2007.
i took the follwing test.

labcorp=pcr dna test with antibody test 27 days after the 15-negative

quest diagn=pcr dnatest with antibodt test 45 after the 15-negative.

i was still stress and tested
8,9,10 week negative

then my 11 week test came back positive
with the western blot undetermined.

i panic and took the me test again at 12 week
with a viral load test{pcr} and it was negative and non=detected.

i need suggestions and feedback.

HIV tests are usually so unreliable that they always give a second or more test. My guess is that you need too continue too have the tests as a precautionary measure. The HIV virus often has the ability too hide within your system for some time before it can be accurately detected. If worst comes too worst and you do have HIV. Remember that it has been over 15 years since Majic Johnson discovered that he had HIV and he is still healthy enough that he plays basketball in a semi pro league and coaches kids on the side.

God bless you, hope you stay negative

There is always a chance of a false positive. I wouls say that after 7 negative tests, you are negative.

Pumpkin,

You need suggestions from a doctor, not someone on Yahoo Answers. Call your doctor today.

sounds like a false positive. try not to worry.

I agree with DavidS, continue to test as a precaution and try not to worry because you still have a chance for a full, active life. Don't forget to tell your intimate partners about your situation to do your share in stopping the spread of disease.

If the viral load test was negative, so are you. By this time you would have a high viral load if you were HIV+, the day a person become infected the viral load keeps on growing and growing, and this keeps on happening until someone goes on medication.

Are you on any medications that you have not mentioned? do you have Lupus? these are 2 reason for either undetermined or false positive.

You have been through a lot of worry and stress, I know I would be. From all you have said you are negative, but for peace of mind you may want to get tested every 6-12 months for a while.

Good Luck.
