About my HIV blood test? |
heyyyyyyyyy....say congratulations....the result of my HIV blood test came today and it was negative and iam fine thanks god...iam the one who asked alot and was worried cuz i had sex in 2005 but now two tests are more sure...i had also HIV blood test in 2006 and it was negative but i donnu why i was still worried a lil and today i also got the result of the test of 2007 and it was negative too...now iam more sure....HIV blood test after one year from having sex and another HIV blood test after two years from having sex and both are negative..... Congrats!!! The best thing in the world is to know that you are STD free. The even better thing is that you can control whether or not you have to experience that terrible feeling of not knowing ever again by being responsible and having protected sex always and forever. Imagine gettin a positive test after all this. One time is all it takes...BE careful! 0% chance of error. You are indeed HIV negative. Congrats. with so many tests there is no chance that you have HIV! Congratulations! Now keep it in your pants so you won't have to keep going through this! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! |

It's true that a PCR tests for the virus itself - whereas the Elisa & Western Blot test for antibodies. Antibodies can take 3 weeks to 3 months to show up in the blood, (some states sti... If you are referring to the Western Blot test, it looks for the antibodies to HIV-1 proteins....not the actual virus itself. The WB test should always be coupled with the initial ELISA/EIA test. ... The HIV PCR test (which looks for the virus itself) can be considered accurate 28 days AFTER exposure. Which would mean you need to wait until after August 31st before you take the test for it to b... Was this sex protected? Were condoms involved??? It does make a HUGE difference. Since you are so concerned, then you should make an appointment and get tested. I hope every thing turns o... usually 2 weeks ...its normally 20 minutes. i had one....i was like WOW! ...frankly i don't know the specific address of it, but u can contact my friends on positivesingles.com and ask them 4 the specific info. good luck and all the best*_* ...The window period for HIV is 3 months.
