I had HIV blood test today...can i ask something? |
i asked about HIV alot but iam just the type of person who stays worried and likes to be perfectly sure, as i said before if some of u read it...i had sex while using condoms in the summer of 2005 and i had HIV blood test in month 8 of 2006 and the result was negative and i was fine and now in 2007 just today i also had HIV blood test and the result will come after 3 days....i know that the result of 2006 HIV blood test was negative but i donnu why iam still worried about this one....should i be worried or not? tell me ppl I think being worried is a perfectly natural reaction. If you were about to be eaten by a lion you would be afraid..right? Death, even the idea of illness is scary. You are taking all the right steps it sounds like, and keeping safe...so it is natural to fear, but please don't let that rule your life. Depends on who you are sleeping with. If you are sleeping with people who are at a higher risk for having HIV, such as prostitute, IV drug user, homosexual or bisexual persons, then you will never have to stop worrying about your HIV tests coming back positive. If you are sexually active and using condoms correctly each and every time you have intercourse then you should have nothing to worry about. Stop worrying for heavens sake, you are neg. You sound as though you've got nothing to worry about. BE AFRAID..... VERY AFRAID!!!!!!! if u had unprotected sex Because you took that test, you will worry for three days. if you had HIV it would have shown by the 8th month already ....relax ...stress is sometimes more deadly than the disease itself If your so worried then wait to have sex until your married and when you do get STD tested. BOTH OF YOU!!!!!! Don't worry. If you don't have it, it's great, but if you do have it, there's nothing you can do about it and you have been living with the virus for sometime now and it is great that you know it so you can look for help. Being HIV (+) is not a death sentence anymore. Nowadays, it is being treated as a chronical disease. Besides, you will not gain anything by worring about the test results...whatever will be, will be.... no you should not but i ant blame you if you are concerned I would be worried if for sure you knew that the person you had sex with had HIV.. You have to remember... A condom will not completly save you from a STD.. I truly wish you good luck.... Grant M in Pennsylvania WEll if U had safe sex your SAFE!!SAFE SEX SAVES LIVES so SAVE A LIFE TODAY!THE LIFE YOU SAVE COULD BE YOUR OWN IF YOUR SMART & USE A CONDOM!!!!!noT TO WORRY IF U WORE A SAFE,& EVEN IF YOUR TEST IS POZ,NOWADAYS DRUGS CAN EXTEND THE AVE LIFE BY 20-30 YRS NOW!wHO KNOWS HOW MUCH FARTHER WE WILL GO IN THE NEXT TEN YEARS!! I HAVE HOPE AS I AM A PHA! |
