Self-test HIV? |
is there any self-test kit for HIV? Yes there are self-testing/home testing kits for HIV. Actually they do have those kits....do a google search or you could go to an anonymous testing center even do it in a different city than you live in and get a free HIV test there and the in person pre test counseling ... depending on what city your in, you can obtain them at any pharmacy store. Like i live in Philly and we have stores such as CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens..etc. Some home test you have to send in and they give you the results over the phone. I would suggest you just go in person to a local clinic.just to be sure Yes there is a self test kit but the way it works it that you take home do it at home and then you have send in your sample, so its not completely self done. If you dont want anyone to know your real name, when you go to get tested you can do it anonymously. |
