is there any self-test kit for HIV?

how reliable it is?

Yes there are self-testing/home testing kits for HIV.
They can be purchased over the internet, costing around 拢14/$20.
They claim to be 99% accurate - but they tell you to have a follow-up test with your doctor/a clinic just to be sure.

or you could go to an anonymous testing center even do it in a different city than you live in and get a free HIV test there and the in person pre test counseling ...

depending on what city your in, you can obtain them at any pharmacy store. Like i live in Philly and we have stores such as CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens..etc. Some home test you have to send in and they give you the results over the phone. I would suggest you just go in person to a local clinic.just to be sure

Yes there is a self test kit but the way it works it that you take home do it at home and then you have send in your sample, so its not completely self done. If you dont want anyone to know your real name, when you go to get tested you can do it anonymously.
