Can anyone please answer me, do i need to do the HIV test for getting the L1 or H1b visa for the US?

I had already asked this question one month before , but i didn't get the exact answer. i need to know whether HIV test is required for non immigrant work visas L1 and H1b or not.Plz answer me, this is very important for me.

Depending on the country you are coming from (meaning the one that has issued your passport), you MAY be required to undergo a medical screening before being allowed to enter the US.

This can be required by the US government and/or by the company that is sponsoring your visa petition.

Verification of your general health and specifically checks against certain communicable diseases is part of the process.

L1 and H1B non immigration visas use the same application form. Applicants are NOT required to take HIV test. you DO NOT need to provide any of your medical record with your L1 or H1b visa application.
HIV test is required ONLY IF you apply for immigration visa or green card.
