Is it wrong to expect people carry around their HIV test results when they're out looking for one night stands

As we all know, anyone can easily lie and say they've taken the HIV test ( painfully obvious when they said they've taken it once... it's a one year process that has to be taken atleast four times ) or any other STD test. Should people get some sort of signed result sheet from their doctor and have a new sheet updated every six months or so when they're having spontaneous sex at clubs and bars?

Its a great idea, but if people can get fake drivers lisences then they can get fake test results too.

If you are having unprotected sex, then you are basically saying that you don't care if you ever get and STD. If you catch HIV, unless you were raped, it is your own fault. So why not take precautions and use a condom or not have sex at all?

As horribly embarassing as that would no doubt be, maybe that would make people think twice before banging anything that had two legs.

I think that would be a great idea.But people have rights.So it would have to be only if they wanted to do it.

Sad, when you have to worry about STD's, how about not sleeping around?

A test result from yesterday doesn't mean anything today. Besides that, labs make mistakes. I wouldn't rely on anything like this.

the truth of the matter is that HIV negative and health conscious individuals aren't really interested in having one night stands. They are more concerned with limiting their partners (I've only had one and I'm young but I want to keep it that way for awhile) and they're more concerned with quality relationships.

To expect one night stand seekers to have this info is unrealistic...

If people are going to have sex with you, they are legally obligated to truthfully tell you if they have a sexually transmitted disease or not. It is a criminal offense called aggrivated assault or whatever. The problem with night quickies are that you will bang them and then probably never see them again, so they do not care if they pass on an std to you or not. Having a doctor sign a text result would help somewhat.

Also ignore all the people complaining about you having sex. They have no right to preach to you about your sex life just because they don't see eye to eye with it. That's like a Christian jumping into a question about Jahova Witnesses telling them all to convert.

No. Maybe its just me but I think people should just be careful about who they have sex with and try to stray away from casual sex.

If someone took a test for HIV on june 1 and came back negative and then on june 9 unknowingly got it if they met someone on june 10 they could honestly say that they don't have it.

I don't know about you but i'm not going to trust my health and life to someone I just met.

ETA: using protection can stop you from contracting HIV/AIDs (although I wouldn't sleep with someone who did) but what about an incureable herpes? You can catch herpes even if you wear protection and even if your partner shows no symptoms or has an outbreak.
