I hav STd and i do a hIV test wil the hiv test come out clear?

is the HIV test wil be positive or negetive although ih hav chlamydia but i didn't tel the doctor

The HIV and Chlamydia are totally different tests. You will get seperate results for each one. The only way you would come up positive on both is if you really have both diseases.

These tests are performed totally differently. HIV is tested through the blood. Unless you've had unprotected sex with someone who is HIV positive, there's nothing to worry about.

lay off the sex first of all

The STD will show up.

Sucks to be you. You should've wore a rubber or messed around with cleaner females. This is what happens when to go to Amsterdam without a hat on your man.

from now on use protection, then you wouldn't have 2 worry about these things, I'm sorry but come on....we all know these things are out there, so why aren't peole protecting themselves????? life's 2 short as it is.....why push it???

Did you get treatment for chlamydia?? I hope you did. Anyways, they test your blood- this won't "get in the way" of the test, but they might be able to tell you have an STD.

HIV test /checks /only/ for HIV

a HIV test is just for HIV, it can be done through a blood test or a swab, to test for anything else it would have to specified at the time of testing. If you were with someone infected, you will want to repeat the test in a few months and then again about 6 months later, if all come back negative, you are fine. Next time you are unsure of the person you are sleeping with use protection or keep it to "outer sex" where there is no direct contact or passing of fluid.

STD's and HIV are 2 completely different things. Testing is done differently. You still should have told your doctor that you had chlamydia. good luck and always use protection

Chlamydia and HIV are two different tests performed two totally different ways. One will not effect the other.

I have to ask why you didn't tell your doctor and are you getting the appropriate treatment for the Chlamydia?

  • Do i need to test for hiv..if i stick someones finger..using a finger stick.i did not use any gloves...?

As long as you did not come in contact with any blood you will be fine. HIV doesn't spread thru skin, it spreads thru cuts or open areas. Next time I would suggest wearing gloves!!!
