I took an HIV test. It came back negative but they wrote it in pencil.?

I took an HIV test 2 days ago. I went with this girl that Iv'e been messing with for about 3 months. Iv'e been trying to get her to take one and she would always say there is nothing wrong with me. I asked her 6 times since we have been talking and she would always refuse. She finally went in to take one with mer on tuesday. I went first and she was after me. They say only had one spot for the rapid test where you would get back the results in 20 minutes. They told her she would have to wait 8 business days to get the results. I went first and she was going to go after me. I took the test and I decided to kill time during the 20 minutes. When I left she was about to be up next. I wen tot the store and came back after ten minutes. She was gone when I came back. I got the results and they said I was negative non reacvtive. The counselor wasn't going to give me a paper that said negative. As I was leaving I came back and asked for the paper. She said that I didnt ask.

She then gave me a Pen to sign a paper but then she wrote I was hegative in pencil. I find this really odd. The type of chair that you sit in is a right handed chair. The person that is drawing blood is on your right side. So they take the blood from your right arm. I went to the girls house later that day and I saw a bandaid from the test on her left arm. She was trying to make it so obvious. I really do not trust that girl man. Can an HIV clinic say your negative when your positive ?

Bottom line, if she don't want an AIDS test then don't make her. You don't have to date her neither. I would find someone else who you can trust.

If somone did wan't to get an HIV test with me then I wouldn't be sleeping with them, plain and simple.

They usually ask which arm the patient prefers, or will pick the arm with the better vein.

There is absolutely no reason to think that this clinic is lying to you or that anything suspicious is going on.

i thought u said there was only one spot left for rapid testing and u took it? if so then why would she have a bandaid on? and if they told u u were neg. then ur neg. (although it can take up to 7 years to test pos.) And why did ur girl leave that sounds suspicious. Use a condom with her, if you've only been together 3 months u hardly know her and if she's that determined not 2 be tested maybe there's a reason. u shoulda made her go that day and not u, that woulda been the smart thing 2 do.

A clinic would never say you tested negative if you actually tested positive. Blood can be drawn from either arm however if you were not actually there when the girl was supposed to have had her test you don't know if she actually had one done or not. To be safe do not continue having sex with her since you don't trust her and also go back in a few months and get retested since it may have been too early to detect the virus in your system when you did get tested this time. I think you have a reason to worry if you don't know this girl too well and she is so apprehensive about having the test done.

If you have only been with her for 3 months you will want to get retested in about 3 more months, at the 6 month point after infection, you should show antibodies for the virus, except if you were infected recently. So it would be best to also get tested again at about 9 months to a year, and always use a condom from now on out. I think I would write her off is she is not willing to prove she actually got tested, because even if they did the blood draw, she will have to return for the results.
