Question about an hiv test?

If you go in for a basic physical, will the blood test they take look for hiv (or any other std)? Or do you have to get a specific test done to look for hiv?

You have to get a specific test done for that. Usually the blood test they take is for if you are a diabetic or if you have any other elements. Just request for the test and they already have your blood..No sweat.
