When should I get my next HIV test?

I took an HIV test on March 11. I tested negative, but I am still scared because its was still within the 3-month period. I'm just a 19yo college freshman, and I want to live a full life.

I am a man, and I have only had sex with men. I have had 9 different sex partners, all within the last 4-5 months.

Oral sex: have not used condoms. I have only given oral twice. no fluid came out and I don't recall anything abnormal. I have recieved oral every other time.

Anal sex: I have always used condoms, except for one time in January. The guy was clean. He was last tested in November 2007, and he is HIV-. I asked about his history, and he told me he had no at-risk conduct between the window period and when we met. I hope I can trust him.

I think my chances of having HIV are very low but I'm still scared.

When should I get my next test? My doctor told me I should do it in June but I want to do it within the next few weeks to give me better peace of mind. What is best?

Another reason I'm scared is because I learned about acute HIV infection after getting tested, which has similar symptoms to Hepatitis A, which I was diagnosed with a few weeks ago.

I was vaccinated against the disease 8 years ago, but I still tested positive and displayed the symptoms, with the notable exception of jaundice. The doctor thought my vaccination might not have been strong enough, and I thought that resulted in milder symptoms. The doctor noticed that I had elevated liver enzyme levels, which prompted the testing.

I'm hoping I wasn't misdiagnosed. I was told that people who contract Hep A are "positive for life."

From looking at other posts, I think that my results were about 95% accurate at the time. I don't have a weakened immune system, in fact I think it's rather strong.

Don't hesitate from getting an HIV/AIDS test. It's your health. Your doctor is right, the HIV/AIDS virus takes a couple of months to show up on tests. So you could only be sure if you have it or not after a couple of months after you had sex. If you really don't have it, then it won't show up at all (even after several months).
