HIV test results......? |
ok I took an HIV test about a week ago and the results aren't in yet. Should I be worried??? It was a blood test taken at a clinic. Generally - no news is good news - if the test comes out positive they will be breaking their necks trying to get in touch with you so that they can find out who you have slept with so that they can tell THOSE people to go get tested i dont know... should you be worried??? only you know if you should be worried. if you participate in high-risk activities, possibly be worried. good luck though! hospitals are slow, you shouldn't worry. They will call you one way of the other, the test doesn't take longer if it is positive. I'd be more worried if they called me immediately. most clinics will only call if you are positive. so it may be a good thing that you havent heard. Don't worry about the test results. Even if the test results are negative, you have to do it again in every 3 months. Also don't afraid of any disease. It may come and go. Face the future with courage. what is your name? No, sometimes it takes weeks for lab results. YES? Alot of times it takes up to three weeks to get results, but keep calling and inquiring it doesn't hurt, good luck First off, I think taking an "HIV" test is stupid. |
