Anybody takes HIV test regularly? |
Do you agree even you are too sexually active, just to respect your own body and for peace of mind takes HIV test regularly is good thing? How do you tell doctors you just want to take HIV test for no specific reason, but just to make sure? because there might be times you had blood contact with somebody like hand shake with injured hand or anything like that you didnt realize. Does Doctor let you take HIV test for no specific reason but just for the respect of own body and health and others? I do. Even if I am not in a relationship for a while about every two years, when I have my yearly blood work performed, I have my doctor run an HIV test. He thinks it's a good idea also. not me but I have had the same partner for 8 years I go to an anonymous testing center to avoid any weirdness. It's great. they dont ask questions. if u want one u can get one. u might have to pay if u dont have insurance I could see taking a test once to make sure you are OK but if you continue to have unprotected sex regularly after that you are asking for trouble! In the county where I live, HIV tests are given confidentially and free of charge at the health department. I personally believe you should be tested whenever you enter a new relationship that may lead to intimacy and not just for HIV. Condoms are not 100%. You don't have to be "too sexually active " to get it, once is enough, you can get it and nobody will ask any questions and normally be very confidential, but careful once you diagnosed positive it is to late and you cant turn the clock back, once you have it you can test as much as you like, and it will be too late |
