HIV or Paranoia + HIV test? |
For a while I have been experiencing ....... not really symptoms but kind of symptoms of HIV and it has been stressing me out so much. I have Fatigue and .. I have sometimes sort of a tickiling in my throught, I don't know if that is dry cough or if it's just nothing at all. I don't constantly cough.. I don't cough at all, just sometimes I hack to try to clear my trhought. My lymph nodes are fine, but sometimes when I think about HIV they burn a bit. I have a rash on my legs and some what on my arms but it's itchy and not painful, and it's just a heat rash I think, as I have had it before I feared HIV. I know it seems stupid but I have convinced myself so much that my body is just .... yeah actually believing me. Also when I think that I could have HIV I get cold and chills and shiver. I don't really have diarrhea, but my waste is soft and I have to go to the bathroom often. Are these even symptoms of HIV? Or am I totally in dementia... I don't know of any other ways to test for HIV without using a needle. But the stick of the needle will only pinch for a second, then thats it. Its a honorable idea for you to go ahead and take the test. As far as the chills and rashes etc. , I honestly think that the thought of possibly having HIV is freaking you out and causing you to be stressed. Stress very well maybe causing these signs. You may not have HIV at all. But, yes... go ahead and take the test. In the meanwhile, try not to stress so much about it.....If you're religous...just pray that you'll be ok, and leave it in God's hands. If you do not want to get your blood drawn you can take what is called the HIV OraSure test. It is a swab of the saliva in your mouth. Most state health departments or family planning centers offer this. Please go get tested, it will ease your mind. I am not trying to be sarcastic about this but have you tried talking to a counselor about this. I think that should be the first step for you. It sounds like you have an over abundance of fear built up. If you haven't had unprotected sex their is nothing to worry about. |
