I have one taken every year. All they do is draw some blood from your arm. It takes just a few minutes.

You should wait at least 6 months after you think you have been infected though, because it can take anywhere from 6-12 months to show up positive on a test.

After they take the blood they send it to the lab and call you when they have the results. It's very simple!
