Whats the percentage risk of hiv transmission from one time unprotected sex with a hiv positive female?

i am a 27 year old male and though i had protected sex with two seperate prostitutes .i am still calculating my chances .i am dying out of anxiety .

If you used a condom, you should be fine, unless the condom broke.

If the condom broke, or you were not wearing one at all, the risk is pretty high. Although true that women contract HIV/AIDS easier than men, men still have a very high risk of becoming infected if not protected.

Since you were using protection, I would say you're fine. But... just to be sure, and to ease your mind, it's not a bad idea to get tested.

Keep in mind that it is ideal to get tested 6 months AFTER the situation took place. That is because it takes a little while for the HIV to form, so you may get a negative test result if you test too early, when in face you could possible be positive. So wait at least 3 months, but 6 months to be even safer.

Well, duh, maybe you deserve the anxiety. What were you thinking?

Get an HIV test. They can test you about two weeks after your last risky time. There's a new test where you can get the results pretty quickly, the same day. You also need to get counseling so you stop having risky sex.

I would say your chances a zero...the percentage risk is clearly 100%. Sorry!!!! It only takes one time.
No offence but that was the dumbest decision i've heard anyone make...ALWAYS use protection....especially with Prostitutes.....
