Can you get HIV from toilet paper that was in a trash can, if you had to use it to wipe because no other toilet paper was available. (the paper may have been damp). NEVER EVER DO THAT AGAIN No. There would need to be contact between semen/blood and your blood, so firstly there would need to be infected semen/blood on the toilet paper, it would have to have survived outside of the body in the trashcan, and then it would need to have come into contact with an open wound in your body. All very very unlikely, so I wouldn't worry about it. I would put a pack of tissues in your bag/pocket though so you don't end up in this situation again. Sounds a bit yucky to me. There is almost an Absolute NO to this question. First being. HIV doesn't live long air borne. Second did you have an open wound or stick the paper up further than necessary? Also urine comes out of our bodies sterile. If the person ahead of you wiped herself within a few moments , no problem. I would still get a pap, or a STD test for yeast. Aids is not that easy of a disease to contract. |
