Does the LTTE and certain "religious" extremes impose the ban on cattle slaughter by slaughtering human beings? |
Ms. Coomeraswamy being is such an expert on human rights, women's and children's rights should not be supporting a ban on beef consumption imposed on classes that consume beef by those that allegedly don't, but do so on the sly. Hinduism will not be either protected or expanded anywhere in the world by creating a Hindu Taliban that machetes and shoots women and children for such a cause. I, for one, am extremely disapproving of making people eat cow dung or drink bull urine as a religious cleansing or a manner of overcoming caste restrictions but but due to a belief in religious freedom, do not believe in imposing bans on "religious" activity that is not life threatening. The moment it starts denying someone else their right to life, I object vehemently. For that is when a religion becomes a cult. When we met on 8/27, I also objected to using circumcision as a manner of controlling the spread of AIDS in an extremely high risk country such as Swaziland and passing out shirts to Sri Lankan youth that deem them as HIV Positive when they are not. Ms. Coomeraswamy should know better than most how these promotional materials trickle down society and end up on the backs of the most vulnerable populations ie non-english speaking children that become targets for abuses. I question the programs you are involved with and their validity and sucess. None of these are matters that any rational person would take relish in being correct about. I recall you from the Caribbean in 2007 and I certainly will not forget our meeting on 8/27/08. Your bio seems to be quite mysterious as to your vital details(no date/place of birth, no family history, no educational history prior to UN program) and I was of the impression that you were Indian not Sri Lankan. That was because President Patil said you were her countrywoman. I take this as an opportunity to apologize to King Mswati for the fact that the UN would provide such a person to address your very serious issue of AIDS transmission in Swaziland. Ms. Coomeraswamy, that would be atleast 3 failed programs in a matter of 6 months. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radhika_Coo... LTTE has nothing to do with religion. get your brain straight. why does everyone bring religion in everything. |
