You cant catch HIV/AIDS from kissing.........or can you? |
what i've been told is that you cant catch it from kissing. you can only transmit it through bodily fluids. so why wouldnt you be able to catch it that way? saliva is a bodily fluid right? we can easily have a small cut in our mouths from injury to the mouth to something as simple as brushing your teeth. so if you were to kiss someone with the virus(if they have an open cut in the mouth) and you have an open cut in the mouth from whatever, couldnt transmission be possible? The chances are VERY low, so don't worry. Yes you can, especially you have open cuts or wounds inside your oral cavity. sometimes those cuts are too small for you to notice. However, there's a chance you won't get it because the number of virus inside saliva is usually not as high as they are in the blood. Go to the site CDC.com (Center for Disease Control.) Look up the STD facts, and dont take advice on this site for something so important! Take Care hun.-Rachel. Salvia deactivates HIV. Only risk is if your partner was bleeding in the mouth and you had open cut. Yes, it could be, but I doubt that would happen. But, yes, its possible. Not really Just be careful and don't kiss everybody. You have more of a chance to get hepatitis b instead of aids by kissing |
