Can you get HIV from a women in her panties grinding on your bare leg?

Isn鈥檛 that like every lap dance ever, what if she was "all hot and bothered and her fluids soaked her "costume" then the grinding deteriorated the skin and wala....HIV for 10 bucks a pop...Possible or non-sense

What do the experts at yahoo say

I have not been to a strip bar in 6 years so no, I am not concerned just curious, i just saw some guy ask the question in a health forum and he was told it is not a vector of transmission, but i disagree, i am however a software guy not a doctor...Someone educate me!!!

Thats what i am saying what if all her "grinding" did burst a sweat pimple or just damaged your skin, i really think lap dances could transmitt HIV

You would have to have an open wound on your leg for that to happen. Other wise, with no actual exchange of body fluid, the virus wouldn't be transmitted.

just stay out of the skrip club lol lol Report It

Nope. Even if her 'fluids' touched your bare skin, it doesn't seep through. Somehow it has to get in through an opening of your body.

No HIV is not transmitted this way.
Sexual route. The majority of HIV infections are acquired through unprotected sexual relations. Sexual transmission can occur when infected sexual secretions of one partner come into contact with the genital, oral, or rectal mucous membranes of another.
Blood or blood product route. This transmission route can account for infections in intravenous drug users, hemophiliacs and recipients of blood transfusions (though most transfusions are checked for HIV in the developed world) and blood products. It is also of concern for persons receiving medical care in regions where there is prevalent substandard hygiene in the use of injection equipment, such as the reuse of needles in Third World countries. HIV can also be spread through the sharing of leeches. Health care workers such as nurses, laboratory workers, and doctors, have also been infected, although this occurs more rarely. People who give and receive tattoos, piercings, and scarification procedures can also be at risk of infection.
Mother-to-child transmission (MTCT). The transmission of the virus from the mother to the child can occur in utero during the last weeks of pregnancy and at childbirth. In the absence of treatment, the transmission rate between the mother and child is 25%.[29] However, where drug treatment and Cesarian section are available, this can be reduced to 1%.[29] Breast feeding also presents a risk of infection for the baby.

You have the right idea but you would have to have an open wound to get it from her. Someone can get HIV through any bodily fluids, if it goes directly into your body. If you get blood on your skin from an infected person, you should wash it off right away, but chaces are very slim that you will contract it, as long as there are no open wounds.

maybe if you had an open bleeding sore she rubbed on

No, HIV is spread by sexual contact with an infected person, by sharing needles and/or syringes (primarily for drug injection) with someone who is infected, or, less commonly (and now very rarely in countries where blood is screened for HIV antibodies), through transfusions of infected blood or blood clotting factors. Babies born to HIV-infected women may become infected before or during birth or through breast-feeding after birth.

unless she was grinding against a naked wound, on your bare leg, you're safe. HIV dies when out of the body, and exposed to air. Even if she did have it, and left some sort of fluid on your pants, your safe. Hopefully you're not having sex with some dirty stripper thats having sex with every male that buys a lap dance.
