Can I obtain teh HIV virus through one deep 'french kiss' and viginal petting?

Met a female heterosexual at a bar and after a few drinks and light conversation, engaged in one deep kiss. This lead to some heavy petting, where both she and I climaxed. Afterward I immediately went to the bathroom and washed my hands (noticed no cuts) and rinsed my mouth with Listerine.

However, since then I've been worried about this situation as it pertains to the possibility of transmission of any STD's or HIV virus to me, due to my nose being stuffy two weeks after this incident.

I'd like to thank everyone who has answered my question so far. However, I must state I did not particpate in any other situation other then what I had previously written. With that in mind, if the person was HIV+ would my chances of contracting the virus increase? Again, there wasn't any visible blood on my two fingers and I had didn't taste any blood in my mouth or does one have nothing to do with the other?

You are safe as long as their weren't any cuts. When a person has HIV, all their bodily fluids have some HIV in it, but one can get HIV themselves from blood, sexual fluids, and breast milk, and that's only if it goes in your body. So if someone has it, they cannot give it to you through saliva. If you get any HIV+ blood, sexual fluid, or breast milk on your skin, that won't give you HIV either (assuming you don't have any cuts, which you said you didn't). Also, symptoms for HIV would take longer than two weeks.

If you want more detailed information about HIV or other STDs you can go to http://www.avert.org/std.htm

You can get HIV from exchange of body fluids. Be more careful.

nothing serious but you should consult to your doctor......OK

cannot get HIV through kissing. CAN NOT I repeat get HIV through kissing. If you had no cuts and the body fluids didnt mix all over yours body parts, none went in your eyes....youre prolly just fine. maybe you have the symptoms because youre paranoid about it. You can get HIV test if you want....should get at least a yearly screening if you have many partners in the year anyways. Always wrap it up and be careful.
