Why HIV is not tranmitted from a mosquito? |
Mosquito sucks blood from different persons in a particular session may be one of them is HIV positive, why there is no reporting of transmission through this route? A Mosquito does inject as it "bites" to prevent the blood from coagulating. The insect is not a vector (carrier) for the HIV disease, however, because the virus is readily decomposed in the gut during digestion and therefore is not present the next time the mosquito bites. mosquito usually suck blood from a person but it does not inject....... |
