HIV Chances? |
What are the % chances of HIV Transmission thru sexual intercourse from one person to another? I mean ... if a person has unprotected intercourse with a known HIV interfected person, is it a 100% surety that the virus will infect the other person? I am not an expert in the field. If you have unprotected sex with someone that you know has the HIV Virus .. the chances of getting it from that person are NOT 100%. However, it IS possible to get the virus after only one unprotected incidence. The only way to find out if you have contracted HIV is to be tested for it. It can take up to six months to show up in your blood. You should be tested immediately, and then, again in about 6 months.. and one more time , 6 months later. In almost all cities across the USA .. there are FREE and Anon. testing centers. Please check it out. Good Luck ! :) almosst 100 %, if you know som1 your having sex with has HIV you should even have sex with them even with a condom 100% based on from what i have learned. You could acquire HIV 100% but one who hasthe virus have to wait for 2months - 20 years before a person can say he/she has AIDS. after u find out you are negative you can donate blood and save alife. they also do testing make sure u are negative I am HIV positive and there is a good chance that having unprotected sex will lead to catching HIV. Please get tested and start practicing safe sex. The short time of pleasure is not worth the life time of medication and needles. |
