Is it true that condoms do not prevent the transmission of HIV/aids? |
Is it true that condoms do not prevent the transmission of HIV/aids? yes. They can burst. I've heard somewhere that they just protect you like at a 30% rate or so. Well, don't know for sure though. Try the internet. yes they do because it blocks the sperm. the affected people have the disease in their sperm. The main reason that condoms sometimes fail to prevent HIV/STD infection or pregnancy is incorrect or inconsistent use, not the failure of the condom itself. Using oil-based lubricants can weaken the latex, causing the condom to break. Condoms can also be weakened by exposure to heat or sunlight or by age, or they can be torn by teeth or fingernails. Also, remember to check the expiry date of your condom! condoms do prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS but only if used correctly n ALWAYS.the few incidents of failure r due to slippage or tearing of condoms.read the condom wrap carefully for once so u know the correct way of using it |
