Evolution taken advantage of to fight fight HIV?

http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn15...

Interesting read. Would any young Earth creationists not accept the treatment knowing it was created via biological evolution, something you/they don't believe in?

Sorry, I meant when and if it ever becomes viable.

Well it is an interesting article, and spurred some new ideas, but it seems as if they are saying it's really not a viable treatment yet.

Sounds like the treatment could kill you; maybe even faster than HIV!

So, no, as an non-believer, I can say I wouldn't risk the treatment! With the drug therapies currently being used, your life can be extended for a long time!

Of course, I try to avoid any high risk activities that might expose me to such a disease as well. I would venture to say the bulk of creationists do too.

I kinda figured that's what it was. :p

But your right, many cures have come from genetic and evolutionary research. So unless your dealing with those who don't accept medical intervention, then it's true that those who think evolution is bunk are reaping the benefits with out even being aware of it Report Abuse

This is not evolution, this is mutation and science created H.I.V.

That article is astounding =] but I'm confused, can the new t-cells be implanted? It says they're non-hereditary, so I'm not sure how you'd use them on someone with HIV

no creationist can answer this, most of them cant even define evolution, and the rest will just ignore this new research.

BOOYAH!!!
