Help on HIV and Dariwn?

How does our understanding of HIV treatment support Darwin鈥檚 Dangerous Idea?

I've been trying to figure this out but cant seem too. Can anyone explain it for me?

Darwin's dangerous idea is decent of modification meaning that we all evolved from one common ancestor.

The HIV virus mutates fairly rapidly. Some of these mutations reduce sensitivity to antiretroviral medications. As new subpopulations of virus appear in the patient, the effectiveness of medication falls. All this in one infection.

I might be able to answer this question if I knew what you mean by Darwin's "Dangerous Idea".
