What legacy does South Africa's Thabo Mbeki leave behind after 10 years of rule?

Thabo Mbeki was handed control of South Africa's consortium of criminals acting as a government in 1999.
We were fed make belief fairy tales that he was an "intellectual", if that is the case I take comfort in knowing that I am not an intellectual and have in all honesty never met an intellectual other than Mbeki who was educated in the U.K. yet cannot string together a coherent English sentence other than Eeeeehhhhh followed by an anti white and pro Marxist puzzle of what can only be described as slang.
In his reign of ineptitude he has single handedly created S.A.'s electricity crisis, denied the link between HIV and AIDS, promoted beetroot and garlic as appropriate treatments for those diseases, allowed Zimbabwe to totally collapse under the weight of an oppressive tyrant while practising "quiet diplomacy" which is in reality "quiet approval", there have been scandals too numerous to mention, mass fraud and embezzlement by ANC ministers and the formation of an autocratic....

South Africa in which opinions and opposition are dismissed and all are expected to practise total obedience to the policies of Mbeki which often border on insane.
What in your opinion does Mbeki leave behind and what will he best be remembered for?

A lame duck!!!
There wont be a legacy of Mbeki, we will most likely have forgotten who he was in a few years from now, i know i will.
But if there is, it would probably be of neglect, incompetence and retardation.

There is not enough space here to put down the legacy he will leave behind , you will probably need to write a book : How to F-up a country chop-chop...

ZXCV has taken the words out of my mouth !

No coment ................

Quiet Diplomacy, ignoring public opinion, being an 'aloof' president, increasing foreign investment, decreasing foreign expenditure, declining faith in public institutions, secrecy.

He! he! he!

1) I don't know where you got that and if you know they are criminals why don't you report them. The was a democratic process.

2) Intellectual: Well he is President you are not so who is the fool.

3) You say he can't speak English: I think he makes a great effort for someone who was not born English. How many languages can you speak perfectly ?You are English but you can't spell.

4)He single handily created SA's electrical crisis: I don't think this deserves a response everyone knows the story about this crisis.

5) He denied the link between Aids and HIV : This is true

6)He promoted beetroot and garlic: False Mantwa did not the President. I will give you a 1/2 a mark because Mbeki did not fire Mantwa.

7)Quiet Diplomacy: That was a failure. Mind you screaming over the fence has not worked either i.e UK and US policies.
I will give you the mark though.

2.5 out of 7 that is 35% (F) you failed Bull.
You need to do your corrections and get your Mom to sign them.
^_^

Anyway
Normally it is difficult to say what legacy someone is leaving behind while they are still in power.
And only when his replacement starts making mistakes thats only when it becomes clear what the other left behind.
why because by then we are all
That is the nature of politics.

Same sex marriages becoming legal in 2006.
I love the ANC, they dont try and keep us gay boys down.
