Questions about STDs for my health class?

Is vaginitis curable or incurable? (I think curable?) What is its diagnosis, treatment, and what are some complications if it is untreated?
What is the diagnosis of HIV-AIDS?
And as for diagnosis, is that just what will the doctors do? Because I wasn't sure what the difference was between diagnosis and treatment.

The suffix -itis refers to inflammation. Arthritis( inflamed joints) Pharingitis, laryngitis and another one is vaginitis. It means that there is inflammation. The cause of it can be from infection.
Vaginits is curable depending whats causing it. Bacterial, Yeast, infections have different medications.

HIV is the Human Immunodeficiency Virus it is whats causes AIDS.
Diagnosis is when you try to figure out what is causing a specific problem.
Treatment as the name suggest is when you do something to fix it. It can be medications, surgery.
