If scientists found a care from AIDS 2 Years, would they share it with the world, or would they keep quiet.?

Do you think the scientist that discovered a care for Aids would share it to the world or keep it secret. Do you think the government would pay them mega bucks, from telling the public about the new care. If their was a care for it hospitals, medicine companies, and the government would lose billions of dollars if people could be cured instantly, instead of using the treatment programs to slow down the HIV virus.

I don't think republican doctors would want to turn down all that money but I mean aids is kinda helping out the republican agenda so they'd sell the cure to the government which would quickly put the cure into a bonfire, give him a cool mil +costs of making it.

If they were democrats they would hit a brick wall with the funding in America, cops would suddenly bust down their doors and hit the gas and it'd be all over. If they got out of the U.S. before this possibly happens then they'd work with a more democratic government like brazil or peru which would suddenly copyright infringe on their cure and the doctor's credit for the cure might be taken off and some brazillian or peruvian guy would take his place.
