On Aug. 2, Pelosi (D-Calif.) reintroduced the Early Treatment for HIV Act, a bill that could boost Medicaid coverage of HIV-related drugs, including Procrit, which is manufactured by Amgen and marketed by a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, a firm in which Pelosi's husband owns at least $250,000 in stock, according to Pelosi's disclosure forms.

Most of them do it and makes me sick. Here is a woman that could be President if Bush and Cheney died suddenly.

Thats some of those Ear Marks the John McCain keeps talking about. You'll find the same kind os deals for Finstein and Boxer as well. Obama and Billary will not disclose what thier Ear Marks are. Should be very interesting to find out.

the first and most important step is to take our media back

it should be a serious crime to lobby anywhere outside a public pre announced setting where all are invited including the press to attend.. then the results should be public information and exposed in the media

without a media.. our politicians will continue their back room deals with the corporatoins that own them both

Pelosi is from San Francisco, too, where there are more than a few people who are suffering from HIV and who have been forced to find unorthodox treatments to keep themselves alive. If you have an interest in HIV treatments, read "Molecules of Emotion" by Candice Pert, who found a treatment early on and was bankrupted and blacklisted for her achievement. The treatment was cast into a nowhere state.
